Dr. Beth P. Black, PhD, FAAN, RN, associate professor, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Institutional K12 Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health (BIRCWH) Program, an R21 from NINR, and a grant from the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association’s Lesbian Health Fund. This support enables her to conduct vital research on pregnancy loss, perinatal palliative care, care choices in the context of life-limiting fetal diagnosis, and reproductive loss in lesbian couples. Currently, she is actively engaged in analyzing data from her ethnography "End of Life Care after Severe Fetal Diagnosis (R21)" and the "Reproductive Loss in Lesbian Couples" study.
