Although he retired from full-time teaching in 2012, he remained actively involved as an adjunct faculty member until May 2015. Additionally, from 1995 to 2015, he served as a visiting lecturer at SUNY Geneseo. Throughout his illustrious career, he imparted knowledge in various subjects, including marriage and the family, human development, learning strategies, sociology, psychology, human relations, and college success.

Stacey C. Sawyer, the former Director of the Founder's Clinic—a women's reproductive health and family planning center in Columbus, Ohio—is now an independent writer and book producer based primarily in the San Francisco and Lake Tahoe regions. She has taught courses at Ohio State University and has held a management position at Brooks/Cole Publishing Company in Monterey, California. Sawyer holds a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University and the University of Freiburg in Germany, as well as an M.A. from Middlebury College and the University of Mainz in Germany.
