Susan Krauss Whitbourne

Dr. Susan K. Whitbourne earned her Ph.D. from Columbia University, specializing in life-span developmental and clinical psychology. She taught at SUNY Geneseo and the University of Rochester, receiving multiple teaching awards, including the Distinguished Teaching Award at UMass. Recognized as an expert in personality development, she authored fourteen books and over one hundred articles. Whitbourne is the Honors Coordinator in the Psychology Department and the APA Council Representative for Division 20, having previously served as its President.
