Dr. Bob Garrett, a distinguished Visiting Scholar at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, has left a lasting impact on the world of psychology. A former Professor of Psychology at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, Bob's impressive career includes serving as the Chairperson of the Department of Psychology, Faculty Development Coordinator, and Interim Dean of Academic Affairs. With a BA from the University of Texas at Arlington, Bob further honed his skills by obtaining an MA and Ph.D. from Baylor University and receiving specialized training in Physiology and Aeromedical Research.

Gerald Hough

Dr. Gerald (Jerry) Hough is an accomplished Associate Professor at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey, where he teaches at the crossroads of Biological Sciences and Psychology. With a BS from Purdue University and an MS and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University, Jerry has a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer his students. He honed his skills further while working in the lab of Verner Bingman at Bowling Green State University. Jerry is well-known for his expertise in anatomy, animal behavior, research methods, psychopharmacology, cognitive neuroscience, physiology, and learning, and he has even earned a distinguished title as an elected member of the American Ornithologists Union due to his extensive research on sparrows, pigeons, and Hawaiian birds. Beyond his teaching duties, Jerry has taken on significant leadership roles, including Undergraduate Advising Coordinator for Psychology, Chair of the IACUC, and Negotiator and Vice President 1 of the American Federation of Teachers Local 2373 at Rowan University. His research, centered on the evolutionary and neural basis of spatial and communication behaviors in birds, continues to inspire others in his field.
