About The Author

Anne R. Agur

Professor Anne Agur got her M.Sc. and later a Ph.D. in Anatomy at the University of Toronto. She teaches histology, neuroanatomy, clinical anatomy, and embryology. She is the current co-editor of "Grant’s Atlas of Anatomy" and a co-author of "Essential Clinical Anatomy" and “Clinically Oriented Anatomy”. She has been a teacher and researcher in the Division for more than 35 years with a primary research interest in the musculoskeletal system's clinically applied normal vs. pathological structure and function, including joints, innervation patterns and pain-generating mechanisms, musculotendinous architecture, and anatomy education.

Arthur F. Dalley

Dr. Arthur F. Dalley is the Emeritus Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology
Research Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology at Vanderbilt University. He got his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from the University of Utah. His research interests include gross anatomy, clinical anatomy, morphology, instructional methodology, and medical education.
