Lucia received the 2014 Community Health Nurses of Canada Award of Merit.

Lynnette Leeseberg Stamler

Dr. Lynnette L. Stamler, Ph.D., dLitt, RNFAAN, is Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Programs at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing. Her research interests include patient/health education, nursing education, diabetes education, and quality care. She is active in national and international nursing organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International, and was president of the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing from 2008 to 2010.
