Carol Yacht

Professor Carol Yacht is an educator and author of technology-based accounting textbooks. Carol is the author of the textbooks for Sage Peachtree, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online. Carol was an instructor at Beverly Hills High School, West Los Angeles College, California State University-Los Angeles, and Yavapai College. In 1980, she began utilizing accounting software in her classes. Computer accounting, accounting information systems, and first and second-year accounting courses are among the subjects Carol has taught.

Carol Yacht received the AAA Lifetime Achievement Award and served as an officer in the Two-Year College section. She serves on the research, instructional, and hall of honor award committees for the Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum section of AAA; she is a board member of the Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance; IBM Corporation employed her as an education instruction specialist; and she is a consultant for Intuit and Sage. Carol received her AS from Temple University, BS from the University of New Mexico, and MA from California State University-Los Angeles.
