Fundamentals of Corporate Finance 8th Edition (ePub/PDF), Australia edition, combines an applied introduction of concepts, with a clear and strong focus on learning outcomes. This textbook emphasizes that students’ grasp of corporate finance should be rooted in integrated and powerful concepts. It revolves around three fundamental themes:

1. Intuitive Understanding: The text introduces key principles in a clear and relatable manner, facilitating an intuitive comprehension that builds upon prior knowledge, making traditionally challenging topics more accessible.
2. Unified Valuation Method: Net present value (NPV) is established as the cornerstone of corporate finance.
3. Managerial Perspective: The importance of the financial manager’s role in decision-making is highlighted, underscoring the necessity for managerial insight and judgment.

The 8th edition presents an extensive manual of applied financial management, incorporating current examples and case studies throughout each chapter. It addresses contemporary financial topics while providing a historical perspective on the evolution of equity and debt markets. Featuring real-life cases of renowned ANZ and international firms, it showcases how familiar companies implement corporate finance strategies and adapt their decisions in response to significant events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. This latest Eighth Edition offers even greater flexibility than previous versions, allowing unit coordinators to tailor course content to their specific needs.
