Dr. Marios Loukas, MD, Ph.D. is a Dean and a Professor within the Department of Anatomical Sciences at the St. Georges University School of Medicine, Grenada. Marios Loukas is a native of Greece who currently lives and teaches in Grenada. Dr. Loukas has published well over 500 peer-reviewed publications and more than 10 books. He is also the editor-in-chief of the journal Translational Research in Anatomy.

His most famous quote is: “A doctor who wants to treat people in a developing country makes a very big difference in society and in the consciousness of how we are going to treat patients in the next 10, 15, and 20 years.”

Dr. Peter Herbert Abrahams trained at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School (MHMS) right after doing VSO teaching in the jungles of Borneo. He wanted to become a surgeon but was side-tracked into clinical anatomy after writing “Clinical Anatomy of Practical Procedures” with Dr. Webb in 1973. He was awarded a British Fulbright Scholarship to the University of Iowa in Anatomical Education. Dr. Abrahams was Clinical Anatomist at UCL (London) and then held the same post at The University of Cambridge (UK) before becoming the Professor of Clinical Anatomy at the Kigezi International School of Medicine. He still teaches weekly as a Fellow of Girton College Cambridge and does one day a week as an NHS (government) family practitioner.

Peter has published more than 50 peer-reviewed research papers and 15 new student textbooks on aspects of radiology and clinical anatomy in over 60 language editions.
