Graeme B. Dinwoodie

Dr. Graeme B. Dinwoodie is a distinguished intellectual property scholar. From 2009 to 2018, he was a professor at the University of Oxford and director of its Intellectual Property Research Centre. Before this, he led the intellectual property program at Chicago-Kent College of Law. He also held a chair at Queen Mary College, University of London from 2005 to 2009. In 2016, he rejoined Chicago-Kent as a university professor and returned full-time in 2018 as global professor of intellectual property law. He was inducted into the IP Hall of Fame in 2020. Dinwoodie has authored numerous works, including key texts and articles widely cited in the field. He has received multiple awards for his scholarship and held various visiting positions internationally. He joined the Chicago-Kent faculty in 2000 after teaching at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He has served as a consultant to major international organizations and held leadership roles in law associations.
