Bill Tillery

Dr. Bill W. Tillery (deceased) earned his B.A. from Northeastern State University and both his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado. He held the title of professor emeritus of physics at Arizona State University, where he was recognized as an Outstanding Teacher in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Additionally, Bill directed the Science and Mathematics Teaching Center at the University of Wyoming and served as an assistant professor at Florida State University, earning the distinction of Outstanding University Educator at the University of Wyoming. Throughout his career, Professor Tillery taught a diverse range of courses, including general education classes in science and society, introduction to physics, and physical science. He passed away in 2016.

Dr. Eldon Enger is a distinguished emeritus professor of biology at Delta College, boasting over three decades of expertise in zoology, biology, and environmental science. His illustrious career includes serving as a Fulbright Exchange Teacher in both Scotland and Australia. Dr. Enger has earned the prestigious Bergstein Award for Teaching Excellence at Delta College and has actively participated in an Earthwatch Research Program in Costa Rica. In addition to his contributions to environmental science, he is the co-author of the widely acclaimed textbook Concepts In Biology and the Integrated Science (7th edition) published by McGraw-Hill.

Dr. Frederick C. Ross obtained both his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Wayne State University. As a professor emeritus of biology at Delta College, he boasts three decades of teaching experience across senior high and junior school levels. Throughout his career, he has instructed a diverse range of subjects, including cell biology, biology, biological chemistry, environmental science, microbiology, and zoology. Dr. Ross has played a pivotal role in curriculum and course development, including innovative courses in infection control and microbiology, AIDS and infectious diseases, as well as a PBS ScienceLine course tailored for elementary and secondary education majors in collaboration with Central Michigan University. His contributions also extended to the creation of the wastewater microbiology technician curriculum at Delta College. Additionally, he was an active member of the National Task Force of 2-Year College Biologists through the American Institute of Biological Sciences, and he participated in the National Science Foundation College Science Improvement Program.
