Baltzan’s M: Information Systems 7th Edition is an engaging textbook for Management Information Systems (MIS) that employs a visually stimulating, magazine-like format aimed at captivating students from the outset. The textbook is rich in intriguing, sometimes unbelievable real-life examples that not only hold the attention of learners but also make the material more relatable and relevant throughout the course. Baltzan’s educational strategy emphasizes the importance of business initiatives as the primary drivers for technology decisions in an organization, thus providing a clear system framework for understanding how technology and business interconnect. By simplifying complex and often abstract MIS concepts, this approach in M Information Systems 7E ensures that students grasp essential ideas through practical applications, laying a solid foundation for success in various business fields such as operations management, manufacturing, sales, and marketing.
