Annie Leibovitz

Anna-Lou "Annie" Leibovitz (born October 2, 1949) is an American portrait photographer. She photographed John Lennon on the day he was assassinated, and her work has been used on numerous magazines and album covers. She became the first woman to hold an exhibition at Washington's National Portrait Gallery in 1991.

The Art Of The Photograph

Ms. Leibovitz was the first woman to be named chief photographer at Rolling Stones and the last person to take a portrait of of the famous singer, John Lennon. In Annie’s first ever detailed and exclusive online photography class, she shows us that what makes a picture/photo stunning isn’t the technology or gear — it is actually the story. Annie Leibovitz teaches you her philosophy on photography — how to work with subjects, shoot with natural light, develop concepts, and bring images to life in post-production. See the world through her eyes and learn, via 15 lessons (almost 2 GB) how she does it and how you can do it.
