Dr. Diane R. Gehart is a professor at California State University, Northridge, and founder of the Therapy that Works Institute. She has written multiple books on counseling and therapy and co-edited works on collaborative therapy. Her specialties include mindfulness, mental health recovery, and systemic therapies. She teaches internationally, has been featured in various media, and is associated with multiple postgraduate institutes. Gehart also runs a private practice in Agoura Hills, focusing on couples and trauma.
