Steven McShane

Steven L. McShane is a Conjoint Professor at Newcastle Business School, University of Newcastle (Australia), with previous roles at Gustavson School of Business (Canada), Simon Fraser University (Canada), and the University of Western Australia. He teaches organizational behavior in the IMBA program at Antai College, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Known for his teaching quality and innovation, he receives high ratings from students in various cities and is a popular visiting speaker globally.s.

Steve earned his PhD from Michigan State University in organizational behavior and labor relations. He also has a Master’s in Industrial Relations from the University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree from Queen’s University. Steve was past president of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada and served as Director of Graduate Programs at Simon Fraser University. He has conducted executive programs with various organizations, including Nokia and ALCOA.

Along with coauthoring Organizational Behavior, Steve is lead coauthor of Canadian Organizational Behaviour, Organisational Behaviour: Asia Pacific, and M: Organizational Behavior. He is also coauthor of editions or translations of his organizational behavior books in other countries.
