Professor Jamie Blair has directed the Mathematics Learning Center at Orange Coast College for seventeen years, designing and implementing it while providing expertise to other colleges and at conferences. In 2007, she was appointed to the California State Academic Senate's Team of Basic Skills Specialists and currently serves on Title 3 committees. She specializes in teaching struggling math students and is an expert in basic skills education. She resides in California.

Jennifer Crawford earned her BS in mathematics from the University of Minnesota–Duluth in 1995 and her MS from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities in 1998. She taught at North Shore Community College for five years and now teaches developmental math at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minnesota.

John Tobey Jr.

John Tobey Jr.

Dr. John Tobey earned a BA in mathematics from Wheaton College in 1965, an MA from Harvard in 1966, and a PhD from Boston University in 1980. He taught at the US Military Academy and chaired the Mathematics Department at North Shore Community College for five years. He was president of the New England Mathematics Association of Two Year Colleges and received the NISOD award from the University of Texas at Austin. John authored seven mathematics books with Pearson Education and has spoken nationwide on developmental mathematics education and distance learning.
