Rebecca J. Donatelle

Dr. Rebecca J. Donatelle is a distinguished professor emeritus in Public Health and formerly served as the Coordinator of Public Health Promotion and Education Programs at Oregon State University's College of Health and Human Sciences. She holds a PhD in Community Health and Health Education, a Master of Science in Health Education, and a Bachelor of Science with dual majors in Health and Physical Education and English. Additionally, Dr. Donatelle is a Certified Health Education Specialist. Beyond her diverse teaching duties, she has actively engaged in research focused on health behaviors and behavior change. Her accolades include a Leadership Award, the Outstanding Teacher Award from her college, and a prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Presidential Award for Promising New Research within the Smoke-Free Families National Initiative.
