Eldon Enger

Dr. Eldon Enger is an emeritus professor of biology at Delta College. He has over thirty years of teaching experience in zoology, biology, and environmental science. Dr. Enger has been a Fulbright Exchange Teacher in Scotland and Australia, received the Bergstein Award for Teaching Excellence at Delta College, and participated in an Earthwatch Research Program in Costa Rica.
In addition to the environmental science textbook, Eldon is co-author of the very successful Concepts In Biology general biology textbook and Integrated Science (7th edition) with McGraw-Hill.
Frederick Ross

Frederick Ross

Dr. Frederick C. Ross earned his B.S. and M.S. from Wayne State University. He is a professor emeritus of biology at Delta College and has 30 years' teaching experience, including senior high and junior school, during which he has taught cell biology, biology, and biological chemistry, environmental science, microbiology, and zoology. Dr. Ross has been active in curriculum and course development, including the development of courses in infection control and microbiology, AIDS and infectious diseases, and a PBS ScienceLine course for elementary and secondary education majors in cooperation with Central Michigan University. He was also involved in the development of the wastewater microbiology technician curriculum offered by Delta College and was actively involved in the National Task Force of 2-Year College Biologists (American Institute of Biological Sciences) and in the National Science Foundation College Science Improvement Program.
