What primary social influences shape our lives individually and collectively within society? In what ways does our social environment affect us? How do we, in turn, influence our environment? Discover Sociology 5th Edition delves into these inquiries while presenting sociology as a field that embraces both curiosity and scientific inquiry. The latest updated textbook revolves around key themes, particularly focusing on the imbalanced distribution of power and authority present in various facets of social life.
