Dr. Kenneth J. Guest is a distinguished professor at Baruch College and the author of the acclaimed book God in Chinatown: Religion and Survival in New York’s Evolving Immigrant Community, which has garnered attention from prestigious media outlets such as The New York Times, BBC, and National Public Radio. His research delves into the intricate intersections of New York City, China, religion, immigration, and transnationalism, supported by extensive fieldwork conducted in both the United States and China. Originally from Florida, Ken pursued his studies in Chinese at Middlebury College and Beijing University.
