Craig Winston LeCroy

Dr. Craig W. LeCroy is a fellow in the American Academy of Social Work and the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. He has led projects including a Children's Bureau grant for home visitation, a National Institute of Mental Health Training Grant for children with mental disorders, and various prevention initiatives like substance abuse and teen pregnancy prevention. Professor LeCroy has published extensively on home visitation, social skills training, and assessments for juvenile offenders, authoring 14 books such as Handbook of Evidence Based Treatment Manuals for Children and Youth and First Person Accounts of Mental Illness and Recovery.

Jose B. Ashford

Dr. José B. Ashford is a professor of social work, law, and behavioral science. He directs the Office of Offender Diversion and Sentencing Solutions and the Office of Forensic Social Work Research and Training. Ashford is also affiliated with criminology and criminal justice at Watts College and sociology at ASU, as well as applied social science at Sapienza University of Rome. He coordinates the Certificate in Criminal Sentencing and Sentencing Advocacy and runs a research lab at the Arizona Justice Project. His publications focus on special need offenders, psychology and law, recidivism prevention, and forensic social work. Ashford testifies as an expert in capital murder cases and consults on Miller sentencing. His honors include the President of the United States Volunteer Service Award and the Distinguished Alumni Award from Ohio State University. He received the president's award for innovation at ASU and served on a Blue-Ribbon Committee on Rethinking Criminal Violence.

Lela Rankin Williams

Dr. Lela Rankin is a professor at Arizona State University's School of Social Work. She has training in psychology and human development, focusing on cultural and familial influences on development. Dr. Rankin has published data from long-term studies on infant temperament, mother-infant bonding, parenting, adolescent substance use, dating violence, juvenile desistance, and sexual education.
