Introduction to Global Politics, 4th Edition, (PDF) offers college students a truly global approach to International Relations. The ebook’s three-part organization and ten-chapter structure offer a solid introduction to the central areas of study in this course: History, Global Actors, Theories, Security Issues, and Economic Issues. Using the theme of globalization and integrating the expertise of scholars around the world, this text teaches students how to evaluate global political events using the predominant theories in the field and offers sufficient historical context and a broad-based global viewpoint.

The 1st edition of Introduction to Global Politics was an adaptation for the US market of the successful UK textbook Globalization of World Politics (also available at our store), now in its 7th edition, by Smith, Baylis, and Owens. The US adaptation makes the most of on the many strengths of the UK edition while making it more appropriate for the US market. Introduction to Global Politics, 4e will continue the successful formula established in the first edition.
