Additionally, she serves as a Faculty Fellow at the Center for Child and Family Policy at Duke University, contributing to important research initiatives. With a solid academic foundation, she obtained her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2000, equipping her with the knowledge necessary to make significant contributions in her field. Her work reflects a deep commitment to understanding the complexities of child development and family dynamics.

John W. Santrock

John W. Santrock

Dr. John W. Santrock received his Ph.D. from the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Minnesota. He has taught at the University of Charleston, the University of Texas at Dallas, and the University of Georgia. He has worked as a school psychologist and currently teaches educational psychology at the undergraduate level. In 2006, John Santrock received the University of Texas at Dallas Excellence in Teaching Award. His research has included publications in the Journal of Educational Psychology on the contextual aspects of affectively toned cognition and children's self-regulatory behavior as well as teachers' perceptions of children from divorced families. John has been on the editorial boards of Developmental Psychology and Child Development.

Dr. Kirby D. Deater-Deckard is a distinguished American developmental psychologist currently serving as a Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He also leads the Healthy Development Initiative at the UMass Center in Springfield. Since 2008, he has been recognized as a fellow of the Association for Psychological Science.
