A grounded and intuitive approach to economics

Get college students to think like economists using the latest policy and data while including global issues. Parkin’s Microeconomics, 13th Edition, (PDF) builds on the ground of the previous edition and retains a comprehensive and careful presentation of the principles of economics. The textbook stresses real-world applications, diagrams renowned for their pedagogy and clarity, the development of critical-thinking skills, and path-breaking technology. As a trademark, features in the chapter openings and endings encourage students to think critically about a news article relevant to the issue, showing how thinking like an economist can bring a stronger perspective and deeper understanding of today’s events.
