Nursing Informatics and the Foundation of Knowledge, 5th Edition, (ePub/PDF) is a foundational textbook for teaching nursing students the key concepts of knowledge management while giving an understanding of the existing technological tools and resources available.

The etextbook teaches students how to gather, process, and disseminate knowledge and serves as a practical guide for understanding how to take advantage of modern technology. Based on the Foundation of Knowledge Model, the authors use this framework as an organizational framework for teaching and learning nursing informatics. The latest Fifth Edition equips nurses with the skills and information necessary to thrive in the information age. Each chapter has been meticulously updated to reflect the most recent developments in technology, healthcare, and reimbursement services. The authors also emphasize how informatics has a timely and significant impact on quality improvement, interprofessional cooperation, and pandemic response.
