Dr. Allison Grant is a lecturer in the Department of Health and Life Sciences, Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow, UK. He got her BSc (Honours) in pharmacology from Glasgow University and a Ph.D., awarded in 1989, from Strathclyde University. Immediately before taking up the post there, she had spent several years as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Dermatology at Glasgow University.
