Professor Michael Barrow has an BA in Economics and Mathematical Economics from the University of Warwick and MA in Economic Policy and Planning at the University of Sussex, UK. He worked as an economist in the government economic service (working on ports and housing finance policy) before becoming a senior lecturer at the University of Sussex.

Michael has also worked with many local businesses doing consultancy work and also events such as budget presentations to business leaders.
