Dr. Jon M. Werner is a distinguished professor in the Management Department at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he specializes in organizational behavior. He attained his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, and his research spans a range of vital topics, including organizational citizenship behavior, training methodologies, performance appraisal, legal dimensions of human resource management, and team effectiveness. Furthermore, he investigates strategies that managers can implement to cultivate trust between employees and leadership. Dr. Werner is the co-author of the book "MERIT PAY" and serves as a co-editor for "BUSINESS AND SOCIETY: BUILDING SKILLS AND AWARENESS FOR THE WORKPLACE." In addition, he is an active member of the editorial boards for the Academy of Management Learning & Education, Human Resource Development Quarterly, and Human Resource Development Review.
