Since earning her doctorate in 2007, her focus has been on excellence in clinical practice, advanced practice nurse doctoral preparation, and certification for the advanced practice nurse. She joined Montclair State University School of Nursing in 2016.

Debra Hagler

Dr. Debra Hagler, Ph.D., CNE, CHSE, ANEF, RN, ACNS-BC, FAAN, is a Clinical Professor in the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation and a Barrett Faculty Honors Advisor.

Professor Hagler is board-certified as a clinical nurse specialist in adult health and certified in nursing education and healthcare simulation. She teaches graduate-level courses and serves as Edson College's Lead Faculty Honors Advisor. She has been honored for her scholarship and national service in professional credentialing and faculty development by-election as a fellow to the American Academy of Nursing and the National League for Nursing's Academy of Nursing Education.

Dottie Roberts

Dr. Dottie Roberts has been the editor of MEDSURG Nursing, the official publication of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses, since 2003. She is committed to mentoring new authors and providing opportunities to all nurses who want to be part of the publication process through peer review. Dottie is a frequent AMSN presenter on writing for publication and has also offered a pre-conference workshop on writing QI manuscripts with the journal's research editor.

Influenza vaccine and vaccination program evaluation (vaccine effectiveness, vaccine safety, vaccine coverage, vaccination program strategies [e.g., universal, school-based]) and assessing infectious diseases' health and economic burden.

Mariann M. Harding

Dr. Mariann M. Harding, Ph.D., RN, CNE, is a nursing professor at Kent State University Tuscarawas and an Elsevier Publishing author. She is the co-author of Critical Reasoning Cases in Nursing and the primary editor of Lewis's Medical-Surgical Nursing: Assessment and Management of Clinical Problems.

She is the author of various publications on pedagogy for boosting student success, gout, and health promotion, in addition to the textbooks. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National League for Nursing, the Nurses Christian Fellowship, the Ohio League for Nursing, and the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing, where she currently serves on the Nominating Committee as an elected member. Dr. Harding is on the editorial boards of Teaching and Learning as well as Nursing.

Dr. Harding is a volunteer and board member for the Stark and Muskingum Lakes Chapter of the American Red Cross, as well as the Regional Nurse Leader for the Northeast Ohio American Red Cross.

Shelley L. Cobbett

Dr. Shelley L. Cobbett specializes in maternal newborn nursing and has dedicated her research primarily to the field of nursing education, with particular emphasis on online nursing education and professional socialization. While her methodological expertise lies in quantitative approaches, she often incorporates qualitative elements alongside her quantitative research, enriching the depth of her findings.
